Grandma's lemon cookies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 200 g sugar
  • 250 g butter
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp, leveled baking powder
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • some lemon peel, untreated, grated
  • Flour for the work surface
  • 200 g powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Mix all ingredients together. Flour the work surface, roll out the dough thinly, and cut out the shapes. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 160°C (top/bottom heat) for 10-15 minutes. For the glaze, mix the lemon juice and powdered sugar. Spread it on the finished cookies and decorate with sprinkles, for example, sugar and chocolate sprinkles.
