Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 large chicken thighs
  • 12 stalks of thyme
  • 8 slice(s) smoked streaky bacon
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 14 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Place three sprigs of thyme on top of each chicken leg and wrap with two slices of bacon. Make a marinade from the finely chopped and crushed garlic, honey, and oil, and brush it over the chicken legs. Season with salt and pepper to taste, as the smoked bacon provides enough flavor. Roast in the oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 45 minutes. Serve with fries, fried potatoes, or a delicious oven-baked garlic baguette with a fresh, colorful mixed salad.
