Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 red bell pepper(s)
- 200 g minced meat
- 1 small onion(s) , small
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- 4 tsp breadcrumbs
- some water
- 2 slices cheese, Gouda
- Salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Place the minced meat in a bowl and season with cayenne pepper and salt. Add the diced onion and breadcrumbs and mix well. Wash the peppers, cut them in half lengthwise, remove the stems and seeds, and fill them with the prepared minced meat. Pour a little water into a baking dish to cover the bottom and add the peppers. Cover each with a slice of cheese and bake at 180°C (convection oven) for about 30 minutes. This goes well with rice and tomato sauce. Alternatively, the peppers can also be baked covered in a pan. This has the advantage that any collected liquid can be used to make a sauce.
