Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 180 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 250 g butter
- 1 egg(s)
- 125 g ground almonds, alternatively other nuts
- 300 g flour
- some jam without seeds or pieces
- mix some sugar with vanilla sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes
Not so sweet
Mix all of the above ingredients, except the jam and sugar mixture, with a mixer until a smooth dough forms, then knead by hand until sticky and let rest in the refrigerator for half an hour. Then take fist-sized pieces of dough and roll them out with plenty of flour to a thickness of about 5-8 mm. Now cut out the cookies. Cut out the same number of cookies with and without a hole in the middle. Place the cookies in an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius and bake for about 10 minutes, depending on the thickness and oven type, until golden brown. Place the cookies with the hole in the sugar and vanilla sugar mixture while they are still hot, so the sugar sticks better. Let everything cool slightly and then spread the jam on the cookies without the hole, not too thickly. Finally, place the cookies with the hole on top of the jam-covered cookies and press down lightly. This amount is enough for 2-3 baking sheets.
