Potato and onion bread

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 350 ml water
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 400 g wheat flour (wholemeal)
  • 100 g oat flakes
  • 30 g mashed potato powder
  • 100 g fried onions (dry from a can)
  • 1 packet of dry yeast

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

for the bread maker

Pour all ingredients into the bread pan in the order listed and start the regular baking program. Four servings yield a 1000g loaf. If you want a 500g loaf, convert the recipe to 2 servings, 750g to 3 servings, and 1250g to 5 servings. Tip: This also tastes delicious with smoked ham.
