- 6 egg whites
- 40 g brown sugar
- 400 g hazelnuts, ground
- 4 tbsp hazelnut spread

Protein utilization
Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius (300 degrees Fahrenheit). Beat the egg whites with the sugar until stiff peaks form. Then slowly fold in the hazelnut spread and ground hazelnuts. Using two spoons, place small heaps onto a baking sheet and garnish with a whole hazelnut. Bake the macaroons at 150 degrees Celsius (300 degrees Fahrenheit) for 15-20 minutes. Makes approximately 1 1/2 trays.
