Marzipan sticks

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g margarine
  • 200 g marzipan paste
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • flavoring, lemon
  • 250 g flour
  • 100 g starch flour
  • Nutella, for filling
  • Cake icing (chocolate icing), light or dark

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Cookies with nougat filling, for 50 pieces

Whisk the margarine until fluffy, then slowly stir in the marzipan until completely blended. Add the sugar and stir until dissolved. Then gradually mix in the remaining ingredients. Transfer the mixture to a large piping bag fitted with a 9mm star nozzle. Pipe small sticks onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper and chill briefly. This will help them hold their shape better. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and bake for about 10-11 minutes. Glue two warm sticks together with warm Nutella and dip one side into the melted glaze.
