Kohlrabi and root parsley vegetables

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp oil (wheat germ oil)
  • 1 m.-large kohlrabi with kohlrabi greens
  • 1 m.-large parsley root(s)
  • 150 ml water
  • 100 ml cream
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 22 minutes

Peel and dice the onion, and sauté lightly in oil. Peel and dice the kohlrabi. Finely chop the kohlrabi greens. Peel and dice the root parsley. Add the vegetables to the onions, pour in water, and simmer until the vegetables are tender. Add the cream and the kohlrabi greens. Season to taste and serve. Serves with vegetarian patties or meat dishes.
