Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g walnuts
  • 100 g cane sugar
  • 50 g cranberries, dried
  • 150 g spelt flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 150 g butter, soft
  • 1 egg(s)

Roughly chop the walnuts and toast in a pan over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until fragrant. Sprinkle 1 tbsp of sugar over them and let them caramelize. Remove the nuts and let them cool. Roughly chop the cranberries. Mix the flour with the baking powder. Cream the butter, the remaining sugar, and the egg until creamy. Add the flour and quickly mix in. Add the nuts and cranberries and quickly mix in. Using two teaspoons, drop the dough into heaps on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, leaving some space between them, then flatten slightly. Bake at 160°C for 15 minutes at fan-assisted oven. Dust with powdered sugar.
