Ginger biscuits with chocolate

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g butter
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 tsp ginger powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 250 g wheat flour
  • 1 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 250 g chocolate, grated
  • 200 g raisins
  • 150 g couverture (dark) or chocolate
  • n. B. cherry(s) , (slicing cherries)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Preheat oven to 175-200°C. Grease a baking sheet. Beat butter with sugar and vanilla sugar until smooth, add ginger and eggs. Sift flour with baking powder, and stir in tablespoon at a time. Sort and chop the raisins, then fold them into the batter along with the grated chocolate. Spread the batter onto the baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes. Cut the cooled pastry into squares. Melt the chocolate coating in a bain-marie, spread it over the pastry, and garnish with halved cherries.
