Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g flour
- 130 g butter, room temperature
- 70 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pack of flavoring (orange baking)
- 80 g powdered sugar
- 2 cl Cointreau
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cream the butter until fluffy, then gradually add the sugar, eggs, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and orange zest. Finally, stir in the flour. Knead everything into a smooth dough. The dough should be relatively soft and easy to work with. If it’s a little too soft, simply add another 1-2 tablespoons of flour and knead. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of about 5 mm and cut out circles. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 10 minutes. Let the cookies cool. Mix the powdered sugar and Cointreau together to make a thin glaze and glaze the cooled cookies with it. Makes about 50 orange slices.
