Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 300 ml milk
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • some baking powder
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Spicy Kaiserschmarrn, suitable as a side dish to hearty dishes

Stir flour, milk, spices, baking powder, and melted butter into a thick batter. Beat in the eggs. Heat the butter in a non-stick frying pan and add the batter. Fry until golden brown on both sides. Cut the Tatsch into small pieces with a wooden spoon and serve. Tatsch makes a wonderful side dish to hearty dishes.
