Shortcrust yeast dough parcels

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g flour
  • 300 g butter
  • ½ cube of yeast
  • 7 tbsp milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • some jam (orange marmalade)
  • some Nutella
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

In a large bowl, knead all the ingredients by hand, then finish kneading on a well-floured board and roll out to a thickness of about 5 mm. Flour the board frequently as you go. Cut out circles about 8 cm in diameter. Place 1 teaspoon of jam or Nutella in the center and fold the circle over (to create half-moons). Press down the edges and gently press them in again with a fork. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (fan oven) for about 15-20 minutes. Once cooled, sprinkle thickly with powdered sugar.
