Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 2 bags of rice (parboiled rice)
  • salt water
  • 1 can beans (chili beans, hot, 400 g)
  • 1 can of vegetables (Texas Mix – corn, peppers, beans, 400 g)
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 60 g tomato paste
  • 100 ml chili sauce
  • 20 g chicken broth
  • 1 cup water
  • some salt and pepper from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

a quick dish

Cook the rice in salted water according to the package instructions. Finely dice the onions and garlic and sauté them in a saucepan. Add the chicken broth and 1 cup of water. Stir in the tomato paste. Add the chili beans and Texas mix. Add the rice to the mixture. Finally, season with salt, pepper, and chili sauce to taste.
