Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 onions
  • 100 g breakfast bacon
  • 4 veal escalopes or pork escalopes
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • some oil
  • 200 ml broth
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 150 g sour cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Slice the onions and bacon into pieces. Season the schnitzel and fry in a little oil. Remove from the pan and fry the onions and bacon. Deglaze with broth, stir in the mustard and sour cream. Add the schnitzel to the sauce, cover, and let stand for 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper (be careful with the salt, as the bacon already contains salt). Serve with tagliatelle and salad.
