- 250 g asparagus
- 50 g butter
- 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper
- some sugar

Asparagus with a twist
Peel the asparagus, remove the woody parts, and cut into approximately 3 cm long pieces, then halve them again crosswise. Fry in butter until the asparagus pieces are soft. Season with salt and pepper and caramelize with sugar. It’s a great side dish for barbecues and also tastes great cold.
