Semolina cream on peach puree

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 large can of peach(s)
  • 500 ml milk
  • 1 packet of pudding powder (semolina pudding, for 1/2 l milk)
  • 250 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • 1 tsp plum jam
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • Lemon balm and orange pastries for decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Drain the peaches, reserving the juice. Dice 3 peach halves and set aside. Bring the milk to a boil, remove from the heat, and add the custard cream mixture all at once, stirring vigorously for 1 minute. Do not return to the heat. Let the pudding cool slightly. Stir in the quark, then the plum jam. Puree the remaining peaches, a little peach juice, and vanilla sugar. Divide the peach puree among 4 dessert glasses. Spread the semolina cream on top and decorate.
