Lettuce with melon

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 large salad (lettuce or leaf lettuce)
  • 200 g honeydew melon(s), pitted
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp honey
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp Tomato paste or ketchup
  • some pepper, white
  • possibly cucumber(s)
  • possibly bell pepper(s), cut into strips
  • possibly corn kernels

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

delicious summer salad

Wash and drain the lettuce. Peel the melon, cut it into small pieces, and mix it with the salad. Prepare a marinade from the remaining ingredients and drizzle it over the salad just before serving. Serve immediately. You can also add a cucumber, strips of bell pepper, or corn kernels, depending on your taste.
