Veal chops with mushrooms

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 veal chops, each 180 – 200 g
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 2 leaves of sage, dried
  • 500 g mushrooms
  • ¼ liter meat broth, hot
  • 4 tsp parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, white

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Pat the veal chops dry and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Heat the butter and fry the chops over medium heat for 5-6 minutes on each side. Keep warm. Add the peeled, crushed garlic clove and the sage leaves to the frying fat and fry for 2 minutes. Add the mushrooms and fry for about 4 minutes. Pour in the meat broth, cover, and simmer for 3 minutes. Stir in the parsley and season with salt and pepper. Arrange the chops on a warmed platter and top with the mushrooms.
