Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g Spätzle, from the refrigerated section
  • 400 g steak(s), rump steak or similar
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 1 onion(s) (vegetable onion)
  • 1 zucchini
  • 150 g mushrooms
  • 2 beefsteak tomatoes
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

First, chop the bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes into small pieces. Next, thinly slice the zucchini and mushrooms. Then cut the sirloin steak into strips and season with salt and pepper. In the meantime, heat some oil in a pan. When the oil is hot enough, brown the meat for 3-4 minutes. Then remove the meat and keep it warm. In the remaining cooking fat, brown the vegetables, except for the tomatoes, and let them simmer for about 10 minutes. In a separate pan, fry the spaetzle for a few minutes, then add them to the vegetables and mix everything together. Then add the tomatoes and let it simmer for a few more minutes. Finally, add the meat, and it’s done.
