Ice-cold fruity smoothie

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 banana(s)
  • 200 g blueberries
  • 200 g currants
  • 2 nectarines
  • ½ bunch mint
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • possibly milk or orange juice to dilute

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Here we freeze, not chill!

Peel the banana and cut into equal-sized pieces. Wash, drain, and sort the berries. We’ll need two currant vines for later decoration; set these aside. Wash, core, and roughly dice the nectarines. Place all the fruit in a container, which then goes into the freezer for at least an hour. Wash the mint, shake it dry, and pluck individual leaves from about three sprigs, setting them aside. Place the remaining mint in a blender with the vine and sugar and blend until smooth. If it’s too thick, thin with milk or orange juice. Divide the smoothie between two large glasses and garnish with currant vines and mint leaves.
