Banana Nut Waffles

Spread the love

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 75 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 125 ml milk, hot
  • 200 g butter, soft
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 banana(s), very ripe (already with black spots)
  • 150 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

First, pour the hot milk over the hazelnuts and let them swell for 10 minutes. Then, cream the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and bananas (chopped beforehand) on high speed with a mixer or, better yet, in a blender until fluffy. Combine the flour and baking powder and stir into the fluffy mixture. Finally, stir in the swollen hazelnuts. If the batter is too runny, stir in some more grated hazelnuts. Bake at medium heat until light to dark brown and serve dusted with powdered sugar.
