Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 1 pack of dumplings (bread dumplings)
- 6 eggs
- 1 potato(s)
- n. B. water
- 300 ml milk
- 100 ml cream
- 3 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp margarine
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 bay leaf
- 5 juniper berries
- salt and pepper

Bread dumplings with egg sauce
Prepare the bread dumplings in salted water according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, boil the eggs, peel them, and quarter them. Peel the potatoes, cut them into cubes, and cover with water in a pot. Boil for 10-15 minutes. Mash the potato cubes in the water. Add the margarine and melt. Slowly add the flour and brown lightly. Deglaze with milk, cream, and vinegar. Season with the bay leaf, juniper berries, salt, and pepper. Add the eggs and heat through. Serve the sauce with the bread dumplings.
