Potato and vegetable pan with mustard sauce

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 50 g ham (Katenschinken)
  • 240 g potatoes, peeled
  • 150 g frozen vegetables (Kaisergemüse)
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 125 ml water
  • 175 ml milk
  • Salt
  • 1 tbsp mustard

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Finely dice the onion. Melt the butter in a large pan and sauté the onions and ham. Slice the potatoes and add them. Fry for about 8 minutes. Add the vegetables and fry for another 8-10 minutes. Sprinkle the flour over the potatoes and sauté briefly. Pour in the milk and water and simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in the mustard and let it simmer over low heat for about 2 more minutes. Season with salt. Goes well with fish!
