Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
very tasty with a fried egg
Peel the potatoes and cut into cubes. Chop the onion. Slice the leek. Slice the mettenden sausages. Drain the green beans. Finely chop and wash the savoy cabbage. Heat a pan and first fry the onions and leeks in olive oil, add the mettenden sausages and fry until they have released some of the fat (approx. 2-3 minutes). Now add the diced potatoes and fry. After a few minutes, add the drained savoy cabbage and fry, stirring, until soft. Season to taste with plenty of paprika, Vegeta (or vegetable stock), freshly ground pepper, and salt. Serve with a fried egg. Best served with a green salad and/or warm garlic or herb baguette. A delicious and very filling meal, especially during the darker months! A really good meal for two people, perhaps even better for 2-3 big eaters. Tip: I pre-cooked the potato cubes in boiling water for 5 minutes and then added them to the pan while still hot.
