Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 20 flowers (zucchini flowers)
- 2 eggs
- 180 g flour
- 160 ml milk
- 60 ml honey
- 1 lemon(s), zest, grated
- 30 g almond(s), ground
- 1 tbsp orange peel, grated
- Oil (frying oil)
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Clean the zucchini blossoms, check that the insides are clean, and set aside. Whisk the eggs, add the almonds, honey, flour, lemon zest, orange zest, and milk. Mix until smooth. Dip the blossoms in the batter, then fry in hot oil until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper and sprinkle with powdered sugar to serve.
