Instructions

with cheese and cucumbers

Boil the potatoes briefly. Peel the potatoes and onion. Then chop them into small pieces and mix them with salt, mustard, pepper, nutmeg, and vinegar to taste. Mix the mayonnaise, oil, and cream together and mix thoroughly with the potatoes. Take a (not too thin) slice of bread and spread some cream cheese (or mustard, if desired). Place one or two slices of cucumber and a slice of egg on top. Using a tablespoon, spoon some of the potato salad on top and flatten it slightly. Add a little salt and seasoning if necessary. Finally, take a second slice of bread and place it on top. Take it with you and eat it anywhere. Serve any leftover potato salad as a snack or side dish, as desired.
