Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 125 g bacon, streaky
- 250 g onion(s)
- 1 ½ kg braised cucumber(s)
- 20 g butter
- 750 g Mett (seasoned minced pork)
- 2 bunches of dill
- 150 g sour cream
- 1 tbsp flour
- Salt
- Pepper, from the mill
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Finely dice the bacon. Peel, halve, and dice the onions. Peel and halve the cucumbers, then scrape out the seeds with a teaspoon. Cut the cucumbers into fairly thick slices. Melt the butter in a saucepan, fry the bacon cubes, add the minced meat, and fry briskly, crumbling it. Add the onions and stir until translucent. Add the cucumber slices, cover, and cook over low heat for 15 minutes. Finely chop the dill. Mix the sour cream with the flour. After 15 minutes of cooking, thicken the dish with the cream and season with salt and pepper (be careful, the minced meat is already seasoned). Add the dill and let it stand in an uncovered pan for 5 minutes. Serve with boiled potatoes or mashed potatoes. Variation: Minced beef also tastes very good instead of the minced meat.
