Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • n. B. water
  • n. B. Maggi Seasoning Mix No. 3
  • n. B. Oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

few ingredients, simple, inexpensive

Bring a pot of water to a boil and add the chicken breast, ensuring the meat is covered. Reduce the heat to medium so the water is just simmering. After 45 minutes, remove the meat and set aside to cool. When the chicken is cool enough to handle without burning your fingers, shred the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. It’s important to do this with your hands and not with a knife, as the fibers created during shredding contribute significantly to the final result. Season the shredded chicken with Seasoning Mix No. 3 (don’t be too sparing; the meat should be covered) and mix well. Add enough oil to a pan to coat the bottom. Heat the oil until it’s smoking point and add the meat. Fry everything for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally, until crispy. It shouldn’t get too dark, but should be evenly browned. Drain the meat briefly on a paper towel and serve immediately. Serve with fries and salad. But you can also use the meat for other dishes.
