Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 1 kg chicken meat, cut into small pieces
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 300 g yogurt
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped or squeezed according to taste
- 1 ½ tbsp ginger, chopped fresh or ginger powder
- 50 ml ghee or oil
- 2 tsp Garam Masala spice mix or regular curry powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Indian chicken curry
First, fry the onions in ghee until they turn a light brown. Then add the crushed garlic and fry briefly. Then add the meat and fry briefly. Then add the yogurt and spices and mix well. Simmer with the lid on for about 15-20 minutes. Add a little water if needed. Serve with basmati or jasmine rice.
