This pastry is a guaranteed eye-catcher

Put the flour in a bowl and make a well in the middle. Add the sugar, yeast, and some of the liquid to the well, then dust with a little flour from the side of the bowl. Let it rise for 15 minutes in a warm place (e.g., in an oven at 50°C). Then add the butter, salt, and the remaining liquid (leave a very small amount for the colors!), knead well, and let it rise for another 30-45 minutes. Then knead again. Divide the dough into 6 portions. Mix the 6 color powders individually with a few drops of liquid. Color each portion a different color by kneading in the color paste. Roll out the individual portions of dough and then lay them on top of each other. Trim the edges. Then cut lengthwise into strips about 1 cm wide. Twist each strip and shape into a circle. Place on a baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes at 175°C.
