Zucchini gratin

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g zucchini, small, (max. 15 cm long and 5 cm thick)
  • 300 g beefsteak tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 100 g sheep’s cheese
  • 125 ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • pepper
  • Salt
  • 2 tbsp sunflower seeds

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Preheat the oven to 225°C. Quarter the zucchini lengthwise. Grease a gratin dish, place the zucchini close together, and brush with softened butter. Bake for 15 minutes. Dice the tomatoes, crumble the feta cheese, and spread both over the zucchini. Whisk together the milk, eggs, salt, and pepper and pour over the zucchini. Sprinkle with sunflower seeds and continue baking in the oven for 20 minutes.
