Wash and trim the bok choy and cut into approximately 7 mm strips, separating the white stems and green leaves. Sauté the sliced white stems, garlic, chili pepper, onion, and ham in a little olive oil. Then, after about 4 minutes, add the sliced leaves and sauté briefly. Pour in the broth and cream, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for about 5 minutes. If you like, you can thicken the sauce with a little butter.
