Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 5 pak choi
  • 100 g raw ham, cut into small cubes
  • 1 chili pepper(s), cut into small cubes
  • 1 small onion(s), cut into small cubes
  • 2 cloves garlic, cut into small cubes
  • 100 ml meat broth or vegetable broth
  • 100 ml cream
  • salt and pepper
  • some olive oil
  • some flour butter, optional

Wash and trim the bok choy and cut into approximately 7 mm strips, separating the white stems and green leaves. Sauté the sliced ​​white stems, garlic, chili pepper, onion, and ham in a little olive oil. Then, after about 4 minutes, add the sliced ​​leaves and sauté briefly. Pour in the broth and cream, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for about 5 minutes. If you like, you can thicken the sauce with a little butter.
