Tomatoes on Rösti in the oven

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 6 Rösti, frozen or homemade
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 6 slice(s) salmon ham or other raw ham
  • 100 g cream cheese with horseradish or herbs
  • pepper
  • Parsley, frozen or fresh, chopped
  • Clarified butter or other fat for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Rösti with ham and tomatoes or roast potatoes

Briefly fry the rösti in a pan with fat, not thawed. Then place it on a baking sheet. First, place the ham slices, then the tomato slices on top of the rösti, then spoon over the cream cheese. Season with freshly ground pepper and sprinkle with parsley. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 10-12 minutes. Garnish with parsley, if desired, and serve. A fresh salad goes very well with this dish.
