Meatballs in Bolognese sauce with sauerkraut

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g minced meat
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 m.-sized egg(s)
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • 250 ml water
  • some tomato paste
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 curry leaves
  • 50 ml cream
  • 1 pack of Knorr Naturally Delicious! Spaghetti Bolognese (seasoning base)
  • 350 g sauerkraut

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

with seasoning base, if you need something quick and prefer low carb

Mix the minced meat with the egg, salt, pepper, paprika, and chopped onion thoroughly, then form into small balls. Brown well on all sides over high heat. After about 6-8 minutes, add the diced onion and fry for another two minutes. Deglaze with the water and add the tomato paste. Let everything simmer for about 5 minutes, then heat the curry leaves, cream, seasoning base, and sauerkraut over medium heat for another 5 minutes. If you like, add a little ginger or garlic to the sauce.
