Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
with walnuts, pears and bacon
Cook the Maultaschen according to the package instructions, set aside, and let cool slightly in the broth. Halve the lettuce hearts, remove the stalks, and cut the leaves into thin strips. Peel the pear thinly, cut into 1 cm cubes, and immediately drizzle with lemon juice to prevent browning. Peel the red onion, halve it, and slice it into thin half rings. Fry the bacon cubes in a pan until crispy. Make a dressing with vinegar, oil, mustard, honey, salt, and pepper. Combine the lettuce, pear cubes, chopped walnuts, onions, and crispy bacon in a large bowl. While the Maultaschen are still lukewarm, cut them into thin strips, arrange them on top of the salad, and drizzle with the dressing.
