Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g quark
- 2 peppermint leaves
- 2 leaves of lemon balm
- Herbs (thyme, rosemary, sage)
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- pepper
- Salt
- possibly milk
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes
Finely chop the mint, lemon balm, and herbs, then add them to the quark along with the crushed garlic clove and mix well. If the mixture is too thick, add a little milk. Season with salt and pepper. Let it sit in the refrigerator for a few hours. This sauce can also be made a day in advance. It pairs well with grilled lamb.
