Spaghetti with spinach sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g spinach, frozen
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 200 ml water
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 cup of sweet cream
  • 200 g processed cheese (cream/Dutch cheese)
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Melt butter in a saucepan, sauté onions and garlic, add spinach, and pour in water. Cover and sauté until soft. Add cream and processed cheese to the spinach in the pan, sprinkle with flour, blend until smooth, bring to a boil, and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Pour over the cooked spaghetti and serve.
