Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 700 g Chinese cabbage
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese (herbs)
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • Paprika powder
  • chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Light and delicious!

Heat the oil in a large pan and briefly sauté the chopped onion. Cut the Chinese cabbage into approximately 2 cm pieces and add to the onion. Season with salt, nutmeg, paprika, and a pinch of pepper or chili, and fry for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Shortly before the end of the 10 minutes, either finely chop the garlic clove or, better yet, grate it into the pan and fry it with the rest. Then pour in half a cup of water and bring to a boil. Turn off the heat and add 2 tablespoons of cream cheese (preferably herb cream cheese). Mix well to combine the water and cream cheese to create a light sauce. Serve as a main course with rice, pasta, bread, or as a vegetable side dish! For non-vegetarians: The variation with diced ham is also highly recommended!
