Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 head of lettuce (endive)
- 1 m.-sized onion(s)
- 3 cloves garlic
- salt and pepper
- Maggi
- sugar, liquid
- oil
- lemon juice
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Cut the lettuce into small strips and place in a salad bowl. Finely chop the onion and garlic cloves and add. Season with Maggi, liquid sugar, lemon, oil, and spices. Let stand for about 15 minutes before eating. Serve with mashed potatoes and any roasted meat you like (black pudding, panhas, bacon, bratwurst, etc.) or a fried egg. It tastes especially good when you mix the mashed potatoes and salad together. Without the “fatty” meat, it’s also suitable for WW.
