Didi's Strawberry Cappuccino

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 600 g strawberries
  • 60 g sugar
  • 200 ml water
  • 2 sprigs of mint
  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar, homemade
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

a wonderful strawberry dessert, can be prepared in advance, also suitable as finger food

Wash and quarter the strawberries, then place them in a pot (or bowl) with the mint and water. Cover. Place in a boiling water bath for 30 minutes. Then drain through a cloth. Do not wring the cloth; the cappuccino should be clear. Chill the liquid. To serve, pour into small glasses. Lightly whip the cream with sugar and vanilla sugar (preferably white sugar flavored with vanilla pods) and carefully spoon the foam over the top. Dust with powdered sugar.
