Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g tomatoes
- 150 g sausages (poultry sausages), from the refrigerated counter
- 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
- Salt
- Pepper, from the mill
- Chili flakes, from the mill, optional

Chicken sausages with stewed tomatoes
Halve the tomatoes, remove the stems, and slice them. Heat the oil in a large, nonstick skillet over medium heat and brown and cook the sausages on all sides. Reduce the heat, push the sausages to the side or wrap them tightly in aluminum foil until ready to serve, and gently sauté the tomato slices in the sausage fat on both sides. Season to taste. Turn off the heat. Arrange the tomato slices on a plate. Place the sausages on top of the tomatoes and garnish as desired.
