Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 500 g beetroot, cooked, roughly chopped
- 4 tbsp natural yogurt
- 4 tbsp sesame paste (tahini)
- Salt
- lemon juice

for the mezze table or for a snack
Blend all ingredients in a food processor until smooth and serve decoratively at room temperature. This very easy-to-make dip can be combined with an oriental mezze menu, non-oriental dishes, or even plain black bread. It has a pleasantly light and mildly fruity flavor.
