Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g celeriac
  • 500 g carrot(s)
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 tbsp whole wheat breadcrumbs
  • Sea salt
  • pepper
  • Yeast flakes
  • Clarified butter, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Finely grate the celery and carrots, and finely chop the onions, garlic, and parsley. Add the eggs and whole-wheat breadcrumbs to the vegetables and season with salt, pepper, and nutritional yeast. Mix the batter well, form meatballs, and fry in hot clarified butter.
