Baked grapes with cheese foam

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 125 g grapes, white
  • 125 g grapes, blue
  • 1 egg(s)
  • Salt
  • 150 g goat’s cheese
  • possibly sherry or vino santo

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Rinse the grapes, halve them, remove the seeds if necessary, and place them in two small ovenproof dishes. Separate the egg. Beat the egg whites with a little salt until stiff peaks form. Stir the egg yolks and crushed goat cheese into the beaten egg whites. Pour the egg-cheese mixture over the grapes and grill under the preheated grill for about 5 to 10 minutes, until the cheese foam is lightly browned. Pour a little Vino Santo or sherry over the grapes, if desired, and serve immediately.
