Melt the butter in a small pan, add the nut mixture, and stir gently until lightly browned. Sprinkle over the salad. If you have a nut mixture with sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, or pine nuts, you can leave it whole. This salad is perfect as a fresh side dish or as an appetizer.
