Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 salmon
  • 6 slices of lemon
  • Butter, in flakes
  • Dill, fresh, possibly also frozen
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash the salmon and pat dry, removing any large fins. Season with salt and pepper inside and out. Place two lemon slices and three to four knobs of butter on a large piece of aluminum foil. Sprinkle with dill. Place the salmon on top and fill with the same amount of lemon slices, butter, and dill. Cover the top in the same way. Wrap tightly in aluminum foil and cook in the oven at 200°C for one to one and a half hours, depending on the size. For a 1,600 kg salmon, it took about one and a half hours. This goes perfectly with saffron noodles or rice and saffron sauce.
