Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 4 m.-large kohlrabi
- 1 tbsp xylitol (sugar substitute)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ cup cream
- 50 g butter
- pepper
- a few sprigs of dill
- a few stalks of chives
- a few stalks of parsley
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Peel the kohlrabi and slice into thin slices or coarsely grate them. Layer them in a wide pan, lightly sprinkling each layer with salt and sugar. Cover and let stand for about 15 minutes. Then add the butter and cook the vegetables over low heat without adding any water until al dente. Finally, add the cream and season with pepper, parsley, dill, and chives. About 5g of carbohydrates per 100g.
