Feta marinated in oil with tomatoes and onions

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • ½ onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • some tomato paste
  • some dill
  • some chili powder
  • salt and pepper
  • e.g. sunflower oil and olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 15 minutes

Cut the feta cheese and tomato into approximately 1×1 cm pieces. Sprinkle the feta and tomato with salt, pepper, and chili powder. Sprinkle some tomato paste on top. Slice the onion. Finely chop the dill and garlic. Now fill a 500 ml screw-top jar or preserving jar with all the ingredients in alternating layers. You can also add a sprig of dill to the side of the jar. This looks nice. Pour in sunflower oil and a little olive oil up to the top. Seal the jar and place it in the refrigerator. After a day, you can start eating some of it. The great thing is that you can reseal the jar after eating, so you don’t have to use it all up. If you want, you can also use the oil for salads or for frying.
