This recipe is for two large oval pizzas for 2-3 people. If in doubt, use a little less than the toppings specified to prevent the pizza from becoming soggy. Prepare the pizza dough, homemade or store-bought; we make ours using a 1:3 ratio of whole-wheat to white flour. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Celsius (480 degrees Fahrenheit) using the pizza function or top/bottom heat. Mix the tomatoes with a dash of apple sweetener, oregano, salt, cayenne pepper, and a little olive oil. Make the barbecue sauce using Hatcho Miso, smoked paprika or liquid smoke, a little port wine, and just enough apple sweetener. The consistency should be a slightly runny paste. Soak the soybean strips in hot water for about 12-15 minutes, then fry them in hot oil. Then, in a bowl, mix them with the barbecue sauce and let stand. Cut the pineapple half into pieces and fry them in a little oil until they are browned and have lost their acidity. Cut the two bell peppers into strips and halve the strips again. Grate or press the garlic cloves into a small bowl with about 4-5 tablespoons of olive oil and mix. Blend the cashews with a little water in a blender until they form a paste, adding nutritional yeast to taste. Alternatively, you can use vegan sliced cheese or something similar. Roll out the pizza dough and spread a thin layer of tomato sauce on it. Sprinkle about 2 teaspoons of smoked paprika over each pizza and arrange flat dollops of cashew cheese on the pizza. Layer half each of the soy shreds, pineapple, and bell pepper on top, then drizzle with half of the garlic oil. Bake the pizza at the highest setting (standard oven: 250 degrees Celsius) in the preheated oven for about 8 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with oregano.
